No birthday wish

MARIAN Rivera turns 24 on August 12 and she has no birthday wish for herself anymore.
“As of now, ang dami ko nang blessings from the Lord kaya kuntento na ako,” she says. “Gusto ko na lang, patuloy sana akong makapagpasaya ng tao at sana, humaba pa ang buhay ng lola ko who’s now 78 years old. I was asking her to join me in my condo but she prefers to stay in our old house in Cavite kasi she does gardening there at doon ang mga kaibigan niya.
What I want to do on my birthday is to just thank all those who helped me and my career, lalo na ang GMA-7 sa magagandang projects na binibigay nila sa’kin, sa’king ‘Marimar’ and ‘Dyesebel’ family, sa Regal family ko led by Mother Lily and Ma’am Roselle, my manager Popoy, sa TAPE na siyang nagbigay ng break sa’kin, my leading man Dingdong Dantes at sa lahat ng fans ko here and abroad.”
Marian wants to thank her fans in L.A. who gave her an expensive Gucci bag when she performed there for “Eat Bulaga.” “For my birthday, they sent me naman a Louis Vuitton bag. Ang sweet nga nila. Also, I want to say na tigilan na ’yung paninira sa ‘Eat Bulaga.’ Paanong magiging flop ito sa L.A., e saksi ako mismo with my own two eyes kung paano ito dinumog ng tao.”
So when is she going to shoot her much awaited pictorial for FHM? “As of now, wala akong maibigay na schedule sa kanila sa sobrang puno ng sked ko. I am leaving for Australia on August 6 to do a shoot for Jag. Five days ako roon at winter doon, sobrang lamig, so ewan kung paano kami magsu-shoot ng exteriors. When I return, I will tape nonstop for ‘Dyesebel’ ng four days, then I leave again ng August 15 for New Jersey to promote GMA Pinoy TV. Pagbalik ko naman dito, I’ll be busy sa birthday show namin ni Dingdong sa Araneta Coliseum on August 27. We will be doing seven different production numbers and the show is our free treat to all our fans.”
GMA-7 will announce later how you can get your free tickets for the show. After the show, they’ll start shooting their movie, “One True Love.” What can Marian say to Richard Gutierrez statement that, among his leading ladies, KC Concepcion has the softest lips? “Okay lang ‘yun. Hayaan na natin. May movie sila, tulungan na lang natin para kumita. Huwag nang palakihin.”
What about that guy named Davoud in the U.S. who claims they used to be on when they were classmates? “One year ahead ako sa kanya in St. Francis in Cavite. Mabait ‘yun. Nagkasama kami as dancers, pero never naging kami dahil grade school pa lang kami noon.”
In “Dyesebel,” aside from being the title-roler, she also plays contravida to herself as Cassandra, who’s actually Berbola (Michelle Madrigal) who just copied Dyesebel’s face to seduce Fredo (Dingdong Dantes). “Maraming nagsasabi, ang galing ko rin daw palang mag-contravida. Pero mahirap pala mag-dual roles kasi matrabaho. Papalit-palit ako ng damit to play two different characters, tapos, may prosthetic pa ang mukha noong isang ako dahil disfigured ang face. It’s no joke. Pero mabubuking na ni Fredo ang totoo kaya matitigil na ang panggagaya ni Berbola sa mukha ni Dyesebel.”
“Marami pang magagandang mangyayari sa ‘Dyesebel’ kaya huwag bibitaw ang viewers namin dahil paganda pa ito nang paganda,” adds Marian.

Ang dami pala niyang out of the country trips ngayong august, let's pray for her safety Knights, and also for her health.
